About Mrs. Ross

I was born & raised in St. Louis (Go Cards!) and moved to Columbia to attend MU.  I've been here ever since!  This is my 24rd year of teaching and my 15th at Mill Creek.  I love being a Mill Creek Cougar!  In my free time, I like to read, travel, make crafts, and play music (I play the violin and am learning to play the ukulele).

My husband, Bryan, and I have two crazy kids.  Kate is 19 and is a sophomore at Moberly Area Community College.  She will transfer to MU after that to finish her early childhood education degree.  She also works as a cashier at Hy-Vee.  Colin is 16 and is a junior at Rock Bridge High School.  He is a Boy Scout and is working on earning the Eagle rank (he's currently a Life Scout).  They are both former Mill Creek Cougars.  We also have a crazy cat named Salsa.  We love to travel and see new places together (our favorite places so far are New York City and Alaska).  Here is a picture of us from Kate's graduation and a picture of Salsa:

Some of Mrs. Ross' favorite things:

  • Places to shop:  I love bargain-hunting at Hobby Lobby, Michael's, JoAnn, and Barnes & Noble, but I usually find myself at boring places like HyVee and Wal-Mart!  I also love Amazon!
